Product Liability

We all expect that the products we use will be safe. Unfortunately, this is not always the case and there is a long, sad history of unreasonably dangerous and defective products that injured people. For example, an automobile that was manufactured before shoulder belts and air bags were common that had a fancy decorative element in the middle of the steering wheel consisting of a sharp, metal cone that pointed directly at the driver’s chest. One can only imagine what happened when the driver stopped quickly - the driver was impaled on the steering wheel. Believe it or not, this is a real story. However, sometimes the dangerous conditions are far more subtle, like when toys marketed to young children contain lead paint or other concealed toxic substances. In addition, drugs, supplements and other consumable items may be defective or unreasonably dangerous. In these and numerous other situations, a product liability lawsuit may exist in which an injured person may be entitled to recover compensation for pain, suffering and other losses.

If you or a loved one has been injured by a defective or dangerous product you should contact The Howard Law Firm llc right away for a free consultation, particularly because there is generally a two year statute of limitations to file a product liability lawsuit. Please remember that if we take your case we will not charge you any fee unless we obtain a recovery.
